While it may seem that a single cut diamond is made merely from a single cut, this is not the case! The typical number of facets for this type of cut is a total of 16, which is a very big difference from full cut stones. A single cut is also known as an 8/8 cut diamond with 16 facets. They are mainly used in watches, gold & silver jewelry and range from 50-1500$.
